OOC Round-up Stuff

Okay! So, while the IC meeting the two groups were planning on having at the start of the event never happened, it's safe to assume that any guild members who would have worked with the guild instead of doing their own thing ... did so, I suppose. Yuri did assign some people specific things, but I only did that for people who directly approached him in a thread about it. Past that, it's safe to assume he just said to patrol, break up fights on the street, or help to guard the smithy.

Now, some other stuff!

• First off, it's been brought to my attention that some people don't realize Brave Vesperia is still around and doing things. So, to fix that, they need to do some advertising. This was something I was actually stuck on for a bit, as there's only so much advertising I can do ICly with Yuri, but the idea to make posters was brought up ICly recently (specifically, here), so this is a thing that will happen soon. However, I really need some input for how we should go about this, specifically if we should have some kind of log about it or maybe someone who might be interested in making their own post about it. But most of all, when we should do this. I'm thinking after most of the new characters come in, but does anyone have a general time frame that could work?


• Second, this has been mostly kept to the background while dates and such were talked out with some people, but fairly soon, Brave Vesperia will be taking over the old training school (started by Alexei and Buffy to help people who weren't good at fighting/couldn't fight to learn so they could defend themselves/prepare for drafts) that used to exist a year or so ago in Luceti. This is mostly to give players whose characters joined the guild more things to do/thread about when BV has no other jobs, and so they can stay relevant in some fashion without seeming like they don't exist at all. Not everyone needs to work with the training school part, though, so don't feel as if you're automatically obligated to do so if you're not interested. Furthermore, any teachers that still exist in the background for the school will still be a part of it, and anyone outside of the guild who wants to teach there is definitely able to do so (Buffy, for example, will still be teaching there, but won't be a guild member).


• To add on to the training school part, you can go about using it in any way you like. As an example, Yuri wouldn't make for a good teacher, but he would be willing to help improve the skills of people who already have some knowledge of how to use a sword through spars and the like. The training school could also be considered a place to practice in general. Like I said, it can be used in pretty much any way that fits into battle training.


• Some small things! I had recently made a small update to the guild info page after seeing how badly it needed it. If the update causes a problem somehow, let me know. Also, the jobs page! For example, right now, the guild would be ICly close to finishing up Rei's small shrine, completing it on the 4th. If you want to make note of this with a log or post of your own, don't be shy to do so! The coffee house job will most likely end up with a log or post, due to there being more people involved in it, but that will be discussed with those it involves.
