Building Updates + Future Log!
OKAY. Been a while since I actually used this comm, but here goes.
First up! BV has had four building projects going on lately - two stables of differing sizes, a small shrine, and a coffee house. At this point, the smaller stable is done. The larger one should be near completion, and the shrine will be next. Coffee shop will be last, due to the special circumstances surrounding how it's supposed to be built (for context, please look at the current job listing post below this one). All of the building is largely assumed, for those who may be wondering about that. If anyone wants there to be more logs on the actual building and such, please let me know so I can do that sort of thing. I've been working off the assumption that most people are too busy doing other stuff to be bothered so far.
Second! After discussing it over plurk with a few people, we decided that doing something fun with the guild would be nice. The guild never does fun stuff, and that's kinna lame. I personally think it might make it easier for guild members to have CR with each other, too. But! I want to leave this up to you guys as to whether or not we actually do this.
If it's agreed on, we'll do this on the 24th, to catch the last day of Luceti's heat wave (and hopefully land it before an event can start). This date might change if it turns out an event is supposed to happen then, but assume it'll be on the 24th. As far as IC stuff goes, it'll be assumed that Sokka gave Yuri the idea off-screen. I'll also have Yuri bring it up in his next post, unless you're all okay with handwaving that Yuri told all guild members about this. He'd likely allow guild members to bring friends and such along, too, with the criteria that they not be annoying people (or in other terms, not personally annoy Yuri, but really, if we do this, anyone's free to come).
If most people aren't kosher with this idea, it'll be canned. I'd still like to do a log for BV, though, so if most of you don't want to do this, would a regular meeting log suffice? Any other ideas would be welcome too, in exchange for this or for the future!
