Beach Party Log Planning!

Goodness this is so last minute dhjsafl sorry guys ;_;

A-anyway, as most of you have already voted in (and all of those votes were "yes"), I figure it's best to go ahead and just say it's obviously going to happen. So, in the interest of saving time and making things easier on everyone, I thought it'd be easiest to plan things out OOCly rather than try to hash things out ICly over the next three or so days. At that, I'm also handwaving that Yuri sent a message out to all members about it - unless someone would rather have some kind of discussion about it ICly with Yuri for whatever reason, in which we can take it to appointment posts. In general, though, it would have said to bring food if possible, and that member's friends could come as long as they weren't crazy and/or annoying. ... And as long as they didn't bring in an army's worth of people.

Regardless! Any ideas or suggestions on how this should go down would be awesome. Of course, we could also just go ahead and make things up as we go along, too Whatever's easiest.

But yeah, feel free to use this post for plotting or ideas/suggestions :|b People not in BV who would be coming can use this post too, of course.

Edit: As a note, I was informed that the 24th might be too close to any upcoming events, so the log will take place on August 23rd instead.

I've found that with our group of people we tend to work best on impromptu ideas that roll into other ones. There should be basic planning like bring food/drink/swimsuits and possibly some time for serious guild issue chat, but mostly we should go with the flow IMO.

Yeah that problem is the bane of my existence, a little guidance goes a long way. So how about we brainstorm some ideas for replies and people can use those as a stepping stone for their own comments?

For example, I could post about building a sandcastle and someone could kick it down if they wanted, or join in and help.
Then someone else could post about cutting a watermelon blindfolded.
Some people can play in the ocean with rubber tubes.
Others can be at the picnic sort of thing I'd imagine snacking away.
And you could chat to the other members about how much you hate building.

There are plenty of starting points for posts really!
